My yang teaching style, influenced by Vinyasa Flow and Iyengar, is creative, alignment-orientated and light-hearted. I teach a series of Vinyasa threads (sequences of breath-linked postures), tailored to the needs of the group or individual, helping students advance their practice, safely and with awareness. Sequences are designed to safely bring students into poses; practicing intelligently rather than randomly. I believe it’s important to create a solid foundation for practice and to provide a deeper awareness of body anatomy and alignment.
